The Ride Is Thrilling, but the News Is Juicier
For some, thrill rides bring out sheer terror. For others, they’re just another place to catch up on the day’s news. The first few rows of this log flume are treating it like a waiting room, complete with newspapers, glasses slightly tilted, and a general air of disinterest.
The guy up front looks particularly invested, scanning the page like he’s in the middle of a crossword puzzle. Meanwhile, the back rows tell a very different story—one of regret, fear, and people who definitely weren’t expecting to be part of someone else’s comedy bit. Some people ride for the adrenaline rush; others, apparently, for the reading material.
