Pat Sajak (Born In 1946) – Wheel Of Fortune

Pat Sajak became a game show maestro in the ’80s after serving with the United States Army in Vietnam as a disc jockey. Merv Griffin asked him to take over the “Wheel of Fortune” hosting duties from Chuck Wooley, and the rest is history. In 2019, he earned a Guinness World Records entry as the longest-running game show host.

In 2021, alongside his long-running co-host Vanna White, he signed a “Wheel of Fortune” extension to run through to 2023/24. Sajak has dabbled in acting with cameo roles in “Airplane II: The Sequel” and “The King of Queens.” He is married to Lesley Brown, and they split their time between the abodes they own in Los Angeles and Maryland.
