Hollywood’s Long-Lasting Loves Who Still Make Us Swoon

Ray Romano and Anna Romano – Together Since 1987

Comedian Ray Romano, known for his role as the grumpy yet relatable Ray Barone in “Everybody Loves Raymond,” met his wife Anna while working at a bank in Queens, New York, in 1983. Their connection was undeniable despite his, by his own admission, slow work ethic. They married four years later and started a family, welcoming four children together.

Their life together heavily influenced Ray’s comedic career. “Everybody Loves Raymond” drew inspiration from his experiences as a husband and father, with his daughter Alexandra even sharing her name with the show’s version. Their 37-year marriage proves that humor can definitely be found in the everyday chaos of family life.
