Greg Louganis (Born In 1960) – Olympic Diving Champion
Greg Louganis has been described as possibly the greatest diver of all time, and it has to do with his Olympic winning streak. He won gold medals during the 1984 Summer Olympics and again four years later. Louganis also boasts of being the second diver and only man in Olympic history to knock off consecutive diving events.
He also partnered with brands like Speedo and Wheaties cereal for endorsement deals. In 2010, he shifted his efforts to the back-end of things working as a coach at the Fullerton-based SoCal Divers Club. Louganis also served as a mentor for the 2012 and 2016 Olympics diving teams. In 2020, he was part of the judging panel of the ABC series “Holey Moley.”
