Mel Brooks (Born In 1926) – Get Smart
Mel Brooks is a multi-talented entertainer with credits in Tinseltown as a comedian, composer, and filmmaker. His initial success came from collaborations with Neil Simon, Carl Reiner, Woody Allen, and Larry Gelbart in Sid Caesar’s ’50s variety series “Your Show of Shows.” He also teamed up with Buck Henry to conjure up “The 2000 Year Old Man” character for the “Get Smart” TV series.
Brooks is still giving his best to the industry, as displayed with his voice role in the 2020 Podcast series “Grandma for President.” It’s always pleasant seeing him grace our screens in non-acting parts as he did in 2021 episodes of “Good Morning America.” His memoir titled “All About Me” was also released in 2021.
